Locus
Reports

All agents have specific knowledge in what is required in preparing locus reports. They are required to demonstrate their competence and understanding as part of the BNH training programme.

Each locus report consists of an in-depth report describing the location, a CAD plan, all relevant photographs showing views of all parties on approach to accident scene, birds-eye view photograph of area, map and statement from the agent. Where necessary we can attend the scene with the client. We always prepare a factual report but can provide opinion if required.

We are conscious of the particular requirements of a slip trip report. Each report you receive consists of a description of the location, a CAD plan, all relevant photographs showing views of the client on approach to accident scene and a clear indication of relevant measurements and statement from the agent. Alternatively we are able to attend the scene and restrict our actions to simply taking photographs, including relevant measurements. Where necessary we can attend the scene with the client.

Attending the work place can present particular problems. We will liaise with employers and defendant insurers as necessary to ensure full access is provided. Each report consists of a description of the location, a CAD plan, all relevant photographs showing views of the client on approach to accident scene, photographs showing a clear indication of relevant measurements and statement from the agent.

All reports sent electronically.
